DISCOVER MELBOURNE'S BEST KEPT SECRET

Do you know where you can see the highest number of bird species in Australia after Kakadu National Park?

Discover where and find out about many more of Melbourne's best kept secrets when Melbourne Water opens the doors to visitors at its Western Treatment Plant from 2-3 May.

It's not all about sewerage; there are four different tours for you and your family, plus free activities including roving performers, a petting zoo and a jumping castle.

Take a look at one of Victoria's largest farms, or see where the Werribee River meets Port Phillip Bay. You can also hear stories about the history of the plant and find out what's in store in the future.
