Water main replacement Greensborough Hwy
From 5 January until early April 2009, we will be replacing a century-old water main under Greensborough Highway, Macleod.
This is the final stage of a 2-year, 10 kilometre water main renewal program which will assist in securing water supplies to homes and businesses.
The project also includes works to ‘abandon’ a section of the main that will no longer be required, along the highway (south of Drysdale Street), Lower Plenty Road, Rosanna Road and Station Street.
Minor traffic and public transport changes will be in place while the work is taking place.
