Our improved Education website gives you information on Melbourne's water supply, sewerage and drainage systems in simple, easy to understand language. Teachers, use the website to help your students learn about current water issues.

1. Information is categorised under five broad topics
- Water cycle - for information on our natural and urban water cycle
- Water supply - for information on Melbourne's water supply system and current water situation
- Sewage and recycling - for information on Melbourne's sewerage system and current water recycling projects
- Rivers and drainage - for information on Melbourne's rivers and creeks, and drainage systems
- Get involved - for information on how you can get involved in our community, schools and at home.
2. It is easier to find education resources
Search for resources by year level or by theme. A search filter function is on the right hand side of your screen on every page, while you're on our education website.
A list of classroom resources are also available from the navigation bar on the left hand side of your screen when you're in the Water cycle, Water supply, Sewage and recycling and Rivers and drainage sections.
3. Book a Western or Eastern Treatment Plant tour online
Tour bookings are now open for the 2009 school year.
All the information you need to plan and book an excursion or outing to the Western or Eastern Treatment Plant are now available online. This includes costs, the activities we conduct and on-site safety information.
